​Orange Is The New Black Writer Has Filed For Divorce Because She Realized She's Gay!

Lauren Morelli, one of the lead writers on the show Orange is the New Black, has filed for divorce after realizing she's a lesbian!

And she's dating one of the show's stars!

Morelli was married for two years to her husband Steve Basilone, and she started writing for the show five months after they exchanged vows.

Well, the split is amicable because, as Lauren explained it, writing about the main character's lesbian relationship in the show gave her a glimpse into her future! She said:

"I found a mouthpiece for my own desires and a glimmer of what my future could look like."

Steve, being the loving man that he is, is totally fine with her decision, and they split on good terms. He gets their Mazda hatchback, and Lauren gets the Lexus, apartment and sapphire engagement ring.

And to put a cherry on top of all of this, Lauren is dating the show's star Samira Wiley, aka Poussey (above)!

So, we'd have to say everyone lived happily ever after
