New Game Of Thrones book gets October release date

The pressure is on for Game Of Thrones mastermind George RR Martin to finish A Song Of Ice And Fire. And soon. 

However, George probably needs to sort his priorities out because it would seem GOT’s next instalment, The Winds Of Winter, has been put on the back burner while he focuses on The WORLD Of Ice And Fire, set for release next month.

The World Of Ice And Fire is a ‘lavishly illustrated’ comprehensive history of Westeros spanning from the Dawn Age to the fall of the Mad King Aerys and it hits shelves on October 26.

The book, co-written by Elio Garcia and Linda Antonsson of Westeros.org, is intended to answer readers’ questions whilst giving a better understanding of the deep-rooted alliances and bloody histories between the Baratheons, Starks, Targaryens and Lannisters.
